Biography
Jacob Piszar is a Michigan-based video editor and VFX artist specializing in digital content, film, and post-production. With a background in simulation, animation, and gaming, he has contributed to a range of projects spanning short films, web series, and commercial work. He contributed to the feature film What We Become, which won Best Feature Film at the Westside Film Festival in 2023. He also served as an editor and VFX artist on the indie sci-fi horror series The Inhabitants, where he developed visual effects including muzzle flashes, environmental impacts, and stylized sequences, and has worked on independent projects such as Red Hood: The Fan Series. His work has also been recognized in the festival circuit, including a nomination for Best VFX at the Oklahoma City 48 Hour Film Project for Terms and Conditions. In addition to his film and post-production work, Piszar is the creator of Algorithms With Attitude, an AI-driven podcast exploring technology, culture, and storytelling. He continues to explore emerging tools and techniques, blending traditional workflows with new approaches to create engaging and cinematic content.
