Biography
Nathan Nicholls was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Nate's love for cinema and the experiences it has created has fueled his desire to work in the film industry since he was a child. With the support of his Family, Nathan was able to attend Vancouver Film School in 2013 to study Film Production, specializing in Directing and Cinematography. After graduating in 2014, Nathan returned home to write and direct his first Sci-Fi short, Fourth Door (2016). The film has since gone on to gather over half a million views on YouTube, received an award for 'Best Sci-Fi/Horror' at the Silverwave Film Festival 2016, as well as received recognition from the Minster of Tourism, Heritage and Culture. Nathan later went on to write and direct the short horror, Gypsy Bells (2016), and the action short, Red Suit (2017). With the success of Red Suit, Nathan wrote and directed the action short, Escape (2019), for Zhiyun-Tech. Nathan wrote and directed his upcoming fantasy-horror short, Dreggernine (2022), which is scheduled to be released in 2021.
