Biography
Samer Z.M. Battikhi is a film director and writer who has been working in the film industry in Jordan since 2015. He began his career as an assistant director, working with several veteran local and international filmmakers. He has directed, written, and produced several short films under his own production company Sierra Bravo Productions. Most notably the film "Arnoos" which was selected in several international film festivals, the film "Kroka" that had its world premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival, and the film "For Good Luck" which he received the Sunbird Stories awards from FilmLab Palestine. He is working on developing his first feature film titled" To Each His Own" and two Series bibles, "Propaganda" which is now in talks to be produced with an international streamer, and "The Shopping Square" that was developed under the Halaqat program at The Royal Film Commission in Jordan.

All the theaters in town are controlled by the Brown Suits Committee, an old-fashioned greedy middle-aged group led by Mr Ameen. Yomna, a young passionate theater enthusiast, tries to prevent Mr Ameen from taking control of the theater where she works after Khalil, the theater owner, becomes a Brown Suits member. A series of confrontations occur over the importance of the play. Will Yomna succeed at completing the show?
