A tribe of little wooden men lived among the roots of the trees in a dense, over-dense forest, where people almost never appeared. All their years - and they lived a very long time - the little men did nothing, because they did not need to eat, drink, or wear clothes: they were made of wood, and the fiercest frost could not hurt them.

A chicken lived in a yard, which could not have offspring, which was very frustrating for her. She had been giving burth to toys, bottles, balls and other trash she miraculously brought chickens and... a tiny excavator. When the excavator grew up, he became very useful in agriculture and mined worms for the entire coop. However, once he opened a terrible secret that forced him to leave his native house.

Worm, trying to save himself from death, accidentally ends up in a cinema watching a frank film for adults. Since then, he is obsessed with the idea of finding a lover. First, he chooses a ladybug, who actually turns out to be a man, reacting aggressively to the worm's courtship. But this is only the beginning of the search...

The main hero of the story was the frog, which was not a usual one, but of the red color. The nature made his fellow green not for nothing. After all, so they are not so noticeable in their habitats to those who want to eat them, because they are difficult to spot in the grass or wetland thickets. But the red frog can be seen from afar. How does he cope with the ever-occurring troubles?

The kid by the name of Plato was lying in the garden, slowly swinging in a hammock. Warm sun was shining; the day was pleasant and joyful. Suddenly a strange cat appeared behind the branches, which led Plato to a heron. And there began the journey! Or is this just a fantasy inherent to kids?

There was no longer a magical cat who sang songs and recited poetry, a mermaid died, like many other fairytale characters. There was only him, a miserable old man.
