When Fawaz leaves his wife Nawara and his four daughters behind, he heads to Alexandria where he meets a playgirl and ditches his family, leaving Nawara to struggle to provide for her children and help them get a good education.

(Nesma), the daughter of the wealthy merchant (Hamed El-Ganzouri), is preparing a master's thesis on drug addiction, and she does not know that her father is a major drug dealer. (Zaher) helps him in his business until he becomes rich. (Nesma) falls in love with (Medhat), a medical student who is struggling in his studies because of his poverty, which makes him surrender to drug addiction. At the same time, (Zaher) admires (Nesma) and tries to marry her, but (Hamed) refuses and makes fun of him, so (Zaher) leaves his job and tries to expose him in front of his daughter and report him to the police.

The writer (Riyad) marries the beautiful (Camelia) despite her previous relationship with (Azmi), his lawyer, at the same time (Azmi) marries (Manar), Riad's secretary. Manar doubts the renewal of the relationship between Azmi, her husband, and Camellia. She manages to record a tape of Camelia urging Azmi to kill Manar and Riad, and plans to trap Camellia and Azmi at her house and summon Riad to expose them.
