A completely lost early ITV sitcom with strong similarities to the popular radio series The Navy Lark. HMS Paradise is set at a Royal Navy station on an island off the Dorset coast where very little actual work takes place.

Comedian Arthur Askey and his buddy Stinker reside in a flat on top of Associated-Rediffusion's Television House in Aldwych, getting into all sorts of comedic situations. The series was based on the BBC radio comedy Band Waggon. Produced for the ITV network by Associated-Rediffusion, all nine episodes survive in the archives.

Sid's daughter may be pregnant, but he is more interested in catching a pesky mouse. Things are further complicated by visits from an assortment of strange neighbours and relatives.
