In this idyllic neighbourhood there is no time to lose. Every minute serves the ultimate goal: to be the best version of yourself. Sofie Anderson follows the routine guidelines from her community, until an object appears in her way and an irritation starts to grow inside her.

Karla doesn't have it easy as a newcomer at boarding school. Between bullying and exclusion, the 16-year-old is confronted with power struggles amongst teenagers. This adaptation of Rainer Maria Rilke's "Gym Class" shows Karla's attempt at dealing with these challenges.

This short film is a manifestation of masturbation. Female masturbation is still taboo in society, however, a man's masturbation is totally fine. A lot of women said they’d never masturbated. We have so many doubts about ourselves. The film should raise this topic, and make people more open to discussing it.
