Customers quietly drink their beers. Salah, a regular, tries to get up from his chair but can't. From there, the world stirs around him to free him.

In a marginalized Tunisian neighborhood, a young man in a wheelchair dreams of crossing the Mediterranean Sea until a surreal encounter shifts his path.

After a retired teacher experiences a peculiar encounter, his life takes an unexpected turn when he starts to walk only backwards as he finds himself navigating the challenges of economic decline in post-revolutionary Tunisia.
