A recently unemployed young woman accepts a job as a waitress at a high-class private party. At the event, she faces numerous situations that take her night in unexpected turns.
Esther's death deeply shakes her friends. As they face grief and financial crisis together, something mysterious happens: a hole appears in the deceased woman's bedroom and grows bigger every day. What seemed like a disturbing detail soon transforms into a constant presence, challenging the limits of reality.
A succession of events. The act of tangling. The creation of a new plot. Uniting interviewees from different places in São Carlos, 'enredo' entangles stories of different people, reflecting on space, identity and recognition in the countryside. In this new plot of experiences, being black is beyond resistance, it is resignification and celebration of oneself and the other.
