Biography
Pınar Yorgancıoğlu holds an MFA in film directing from Columbia University. Her short "Mrs. Nebile’s Wormhole" (2016) premiered at Warsaw FF and won awards at !f and IKSV. Her earlier short "Prayers at Dawn" (2014) screened globally, including Palm Springs and Xining FF. She is an alumna of Biennale College Cinema, Sarajevo Talents, and the Screenwriters Lab co-organized by !f Istanbul & Sundance Institute. Her editing work includes Sundance winner short film "Green" and "The Stormers" (Best Editing, Kaş FF), plus assistant editor credits on Love After Love starring Andie MacDowell.

On the Storm tells a story about the changes that occur in two people’s lives upon the arrival of a third person to their home. We see how games played by this couple in their home create a space to flourish their relationship but at the same time shield them from reality. The newcomer changes the rules of this game-space and forces all three of them to construct a new way to relate to one another.
