An isolated and widowed fisherman discovers a hideous and frail mermaid in his nets and decides to nurse her back to health.

After losing her mother a young fizzy drink maker, travels through time to reconnect with her dead mother and discover the recipe for a drink that once bonded them, and maybe heal her heart in the process.
