Pink Panther and Sons is an American animated Pink Panther television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and MGM/UA Television. The series was originally broadcast on NBC from 1984 to 1985 and moved to ABC in 1986. The original Pink Panther cartoons were produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, is in the TV animation industry, but in 1981, the studio was sold to Marvel Comics and renamed Marvel Productions. David DePatie and Friz Freleng served as producers for the series.

Bridgette is sad because she thinks everyone has forgotten her on Mother's Day. Jonesy explains the holiday to Buttons and Rusty and they decide they should do something special. Venturing into the forest, they chance upon Mother Nature who's being finicky with weather. After the cubs present her with a gift, she makes the day beautiful for all of Chucklewood Forest. A Mother's Day feast follows and everyone celebrates the occasion.

It's a high flyin', springtime adventure when Buttons and Rusty borrow a broken model car and miraculously turn it into a flying adventure machine. Traveling out of Chucklewood, the cubs arrive in a far off forest facing all sorts of adventures...and causing a few problems, too!
The Adventure Machine

Franklin, the wise owl, has gathered the Chucklewood gang to his classroom for their annual training sessions and Freddie, the feisty raccoon, convinces Buttons and Rusty to explore the lower tunnels that are under the caves. Their adventure leads the cubs to being captured by some wild creatures underground. The cubs are able to befriend a couple of the creatures and in the end learn some valuable lessons.
