Roast Battle is a British roast comedy show that is broadcast on Comedy Central. The show is hosted by Jimmy Carr and features comedians facing each other in roast battles. The show was created by American comedians Jeff Ross and Brian Moses and is based on their Comedy Central series Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle on which Carr has appeared as a contestant.

A new approach to stand up and sketch comedy, featuring established routines by some of the nation’s most popular comedians alongside brand new material from Britain’s up and coming talent. Each sketch starts on stage with a comedian telling their story, before it transforms into a surreal dramatisation of the material with the comedian playing themselves alongside comedic actors and all dialogue being lip-synced.

Tom swore he’d never have kids. That didn’t work out. But what a time to do it! Climate change, reality collapse, performative ideology, narcissism and hyper consumption.
