As thousands of angry protesters storm the Israeli embassy in Cairo, five Israeli embassy staff members find themselves trapped inside, as the steel door that separates them from being torn to pieces by violent mobs begins to collapse. No rescue force is able to reach them. The beseiged Israelis realize that these may be the last hours of their lives, and tensions begin to rise among them; Specifically between security agent Tal Shemtov, his childhood friend Roy Barzani, Chief of security and Shemtov’s boss, and Barzani’s neglected girlfriend Hagar, caught up in the middle with a secret of her own. At a time in history when political and personal interests mix, and values of solidarity and the promise that “no soldier is left behind” are left empty of meaning, unstable friendships and national relations between Egypt and Israel, are pushed to the brink of war.

The series follows the life of Itamar Molcho, the head of the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet), during a turbulent month that shakes both his professional and personal worlds. As the drama unfolds, the most severe leak in the agency's history is uncovered, leading to suspicions that cast a shadow over everyone closest to him.

After the legendary Festigal director Hanoch Rozen is offered the opportunity to direct the Milan Music Awards, the veteran Festigal actress Eliana Tidhar is burdened to assume his role. However, she is unable to present an original story to the cranky CEO, as all of her concepts are too similar to previous shows. Trying to get inspiration, Eliana and the rest of the cast accidentally get teleported into the Kingdom of Fantasia from Festigal 2006. They discover many things have changed over the years, including that a new Ice Queen has risen, forcing her daughter to marry a buffoon prince. Meanwhile, Zina (from Anachnu BaMapa) is plotting to assume the new director position and harm the show, as revenge for not getting accepted as a Festigal child for the 2006 show.

Michal and Yaniv live happily together with their guinea pig, Sammy. Things begin to unravel when Michal reads a message on Yaniv’s phone she wasn’t meant to see.
