ShortFLIX is a short film initiative for aspiring young filmmakers, aged 18-25, who are supported in making short films for broadcast on Sky Arts.

A nuanced, bold and tender exploration of black queer love. The film follows Atlanta, an out-and-proud gay man and 'scene queen' and Jordan, a closeted man trying to reconcile his bisexuality with being a father and his love for his on-off girlfriend and mother to his young son, Chelcie.

A short film that explores the complexities of the black gay coming out experience through the eyes of young Dolcie a Black British gay boy of Caribbean heritage as he faces the struggles of fitting in with a community posing strong cultural homophobic beliefs. Set against the backdrop of a dancehall black gay clubbing scene a homophobic song being played triggers Dolcie to remember a series of intense past memories that were influential in setting him on the path to becoming an openly Black gay man.

A sexually repressed taxi driver with a seemingly perfect life, quickly falls apart when he relapses into drug addiction and runs amok across London with his young queer lover.
