The Ghaliboun is a Lebanese series, part of which is based on real events that occurred in Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war
The series takes place in Ain El Jaouzeh, a village on Lebanon's southern border, between 1920 and 1945 during French colonialism. It follows the struggle between village elders and notables, allied with the occupation, and led by Amin, and the simple farmers who are trying to protect their lands from the brutality of Amin and his allies, as Sheikh Musa supports them to preserve their rights.
Short stories revolve around quick scenes, and the topics discussed varied, and revolved around the family, love and marriage, and he was distinguished by his boldness in dialogues, in addition to the lessons learned from him that affected the lives of people and brought them closer to him. Therefore, the number of episodes shown reached more than 80 episodes, and the work was dominated by the young character of the actors, and the series formed a breakthrough for some of these young people in the world of acting.
