Bayarsaikhan Batsukh

1910, Mongolia is under the dominion of the Manchu Qing Dynasty. The young nomad Mongol is in love with Serchmaa, his lord’s daughter. But a sinister plot strips Mongol of everything he holds dear, including his love with Serchmaa. Mongol must summon his inner strength to navigate a world fraught with treachery and deception, fighting not only for survival but also for justice. During his journey, he ignites inspiration and unity among his people.

Tulgaa returns to his native village to care for his dying stepfather, honouring his remaining commitments by offering to lend a hand with the summer harvest. But upon witnessing Tulgaa’s clumsy first attempts, Tuntuulei, a sassy 10-year-old boy, takes it upon himself to school the city slicker on the grassland ways. Despite getting off on the wrong foot, the two soon find common ground and form a delicate bond that will transform their lives.

The film begins with Jargal, a young journalist who writes stories in the field of investigative journalism, creating a fake case for himself with the help of his teammate and minister Badral to find out the truth about a case and ending up in prison. While in prison, he encounters many unexpected events and is subjected to various pressures, ultimately leading to his death. In this way, the aim is to show the immoral and corrupt things that exist in Mongolian society through the events that happen to the young journalist.
