Rodrigo García Chapetón has a degree in Communication Sciences with an emphasis on communication for social development, graduated from the Rafael Landívar University. In addition, he has a Master's Degree in Screenwriting, Narrative and Audiovisual Creativity from the University of Seville. He has experience in directing, producing and editing audiovisual projects as well as writing and editing texts. He has worked for Unicef and for ESPN Digital. Additionally, in his audiovisual production company Macarena Boys.

Jorge Luís Altuve is a young Guatemalan, passionate about mountaineering and a lover of his country. After the COVID-19 crisis and the lack of transparency in the execution of funds by the government of Alejandro Giammattei, he raised a wave of indignation that led thousands of Guatemalans to demonstrate. Jorge Luis attended the central square, when PNC agents began to intimidate the peaceful demonstrators. He and other citizens were arrested without having carried out an act of vandalism.

Set in Guatemala, the film addresses sensitive issues such as sexuality, work, health and the lack of empathy towards people with disabilities. As the stories intertwine, the short film highlights the importance of empathy, inclusion, and mindset change in Guatemalan society. The narrative highlights how ignorance and lack of understanding can affect the participation of people with disabilities in the social and productive life of the country. Through these moving stories, "Disapacidad Diversa" seeks to raise awareness and promote a positive change in the perception and treatment of the diverse disability community in Guatemala.
