The Fête des Vignerons is opening its doors to Swiss comedians and searching for that rare gem for its 2019 edition. While artists from the new generation are rushing to audition, Marie-Thérèse Porchet doesn't understand why she should stoop to auditioning, as she is so certain that she alone embodies the spirit of the legendary Vevey festival. Will she achieve her goal despite stiff competition?

On the occasion of Euro 2008, with the aim of further increasing her notoriety and, above all, in the hope of coming into contact with handsome, muscular athletes, Marie-Thérèse Porchet decided to become the official mascot of the event. To support her candidacy, she conducted extensive research into all aspects of the game. Disappointed that she was ultimately not selected, she decided to do everything in her power to ensure that the Swiss team won the competition. A tall order...

Real estate agencies, property managers, and rental agencies are not always kind to their tenants. But when the tenant is Marie-Thérèse Porchet, she becomes a nightmare for her landlord! Especially when she decides to rent an apartment in Geneva and turn it into a fashionable brothel. Upon learning of these dubious activities, the management company decides to terminate her lease. But Marie-Thérèse is not going to take this lying down.

Believing she had come to bring some comfort to a French-speaking Swiss audience exiled in German-speaking Switzerland, Marie-Thérèse learns that she is actually facing an entirely German-speaking Swiss audience! When she realizes that she will have to perform her show in Bourbine, she clumsily attempts to hang herself with a rope... which has the surprising effect of causing her to speak only in Swiss German! The only glimmer of hope is that Molière's language returns to her when she sings a little song...

It's no longer a mystery, Marie-Thérèse Porchet is not née Bertholet, but Gorgoni, without a skirt or purse or wig. Joseph tells his story and that of his character. The one who has played Marie-Thérèse for two decades discusses the women of his life, the ones who inspired him, including his grandma, his boss, and one of his idols: Zouc. Without forgetting Dalida, Nina Hagen, Madonna, or Diane Dufresne, who contributed to the fact that at eight years old, when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Joseph replied without hesitation: "singer."

The crisis is the crisis, it's because of the crisis! Marie-Thérèse can't take the crisis anymore! Until one day she realizes that a show is a business like any other, and she decides, like some unscrupulous employers, to use the crisis to increase her profits. She plans to reduce the number of technicians, have her costumes made in Eastern Europe, lay off some musicians and replace them with cheaper ones, or even recorded tracks. Inevitably, a serious labor dispute breaks out in the middle of the show between Madame Porchet and her staff, who decide to go on strike and hold their boss hostage! Marie-Thérèse must therefore face all the problems of a business leader and, through difficult negotiations, she will try everything to get the show to its conclusion.

Marie-Thérèse really doesn't know how to make ends meet anymore. It's hard to find a place among the growing number of comedians in Switzerland; the circus is in crisis, there aren't even any elephants anymore! So it's by renting a large eight-room apartment and putting girls to work there that dear Marie-Thérèse finally manages to make a little extra cash, albeit under the pretext of giving rhythm classes! Upon discovering this highly dubious activity, the landlord decided to intervene and try to evict everyone from his apartment, which had been turned into a brothel.
