It tells a story about a free-spirited older couple, Pak Atan and Mak Inom who decide to spend more time in the country after getting tired of city life. But they find that life in the old village isn't a good thing when they get cheated by a distant relative, Yem, out of some money. They cut him off and Yem plots revenge. Meanwhile, in the city, the couple's daughter Orked is being wooed by a young gentleman.

The story of Melati, a little girl who is faced with destiny facing circumstances that shape her into a strong-willed person. When she has to separate from her family at a young age, her future is questioned. From someone who has nothing, life forges her into the best version of herself. Her tenacity and determination shape her to dare to face difficulties, turning those difficulties into opportunities to advance the people around her and others.

Karlos (Afry Wijoyo) is one of Karl (Aril Aziz) delusional traits. Karl also struggles with other delusions of being Haikal (Raja Alif) and Syekal (Dothen) throughout his life while defending his family legacy.
