'I want to go back to my hometown, but I can't go home!' is an omnibus drama of boys who have a reason to go to Tokyo to pursue their dreams! Members were selected from "Naniwa Boys", "Ae! Group", and "Lil Kansai" for boys who cannot return to their hometown in Kansai due to various circumstances! A drama about men who went to Tokyo to pursue their dreams, but had their own circumstances and couldn't go home even if they wanted to.

Asahi is a 23-year-old boy who attracts everyone around him with his innocent smile, words and talent. Chatani Kashiko is a 35-year-old working for a small advertising agency and is someone who has low self-esteem. Meanwhile, Sato Wataru is an expressive woman and works as a backstage actress in a small theatre company run by her boyfriend, who sometimes uses her as a ghostwriter. Kashiko and Wataru used to be best friends in high school and unexpectedly reunite through Asahi.

Elementary school teacher Aoyama Ichiro is a dull person who leads a mundane life, but his biggest stroke of luck is meeting his extraordinary girlfriend, Sasaki Yukika, who he feels is too good for him. One day, he tries out a VR machine that was developed by his friend that apparently can reveal the past. Through this, he encounters something from Yukika’s past that makes him doubt her. Can he now accept and love everything about this girl, whom he had originally thought to be super pure?

The variety show "Naniwa Kara Ae! Kaze Fukukasemasu!" aired from November 2019 to March 2021. Before their debut, Naniwa Danshi and Ae! group competed with each other and took on various projects in order to grow into the next generation of stars. In the space of three and a half years, both groups made their long-awaited CD debut. Now that they have left Kansai and are starting to make the Ae wind blow, a certain doubt has arisen... "Have you forgotten your love for Kansai?" In order to become a national group that loves Kansai and is loved by Kansai, the two groups will do their best to promote the charms of Kansai from land, sea, and air!

The series will depict the trial and error and growth of the five members as a whole, as well as introduce a number of previously unreleased footage. In the long interviews with each member, previously untold "episodes only the members themselves know" will be revealed one after another.

Fifteen years ago, an innocent fireworks accident caused by two boys, Ryunosuke and Takumi, destroyed an apartment building. One resident, Nomoto, lost his wife and child in the fire and suffered severe burns across his body. When Nomoto suddenly reappears before them, the expected confrontation never comes.
