When her digital Citizen Pass fails, a mother is branded a threat by an authoritarian system and must travel to Warsaw to reclaim her rights, triggering an investigation that could destroy her family.

A new boy goes to a boarding school for deaf children. He does not speak, he cannot sign, there is no contact with him. A deaf girl helps him find himself in the new world but it soon turns out that the boy doesn't fit in here either.

The film tells the story of Natalia, an immigrant from Belarus who leaves for Poland to escape persecution for taking part in street protests. Natalia was studying acting at the Theatre Academy but has to work as a cleaner. To achieve her goal of performing on stage, Natalia has to face her fears: after getting out of prison, she is afraid of bright lights. In Poland, the girl makes new friends, but being too naive, she is almost victimized by a man who only pretends to be a do-gooder.
