Workers on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro are experiencing moments of transformation in their routines. An instant of dreams, fantasy and escape from reality as a counterpoint to the sameness of everyday life.
Mais Um Dia, Zona Norte

The film features Miranda, the persona of Brazilian costume designer Ney Madeira, and his artistic process in creating costume-art. The narrative seeks to normalize transformism by showcasing the artist's journey and his inexorable calling since childhood. The reconstruction of Carmen Miranda’s image serves as a pretext to explore the power of characterization in the transformation process and its many layers, presented from the dressing room to landmarks in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art (Oscar Niemeyer).
