Inspired by a true case of child exploitation known as the 'Christmas-sale activity,' On Christmas Eve, a child’s game of hide and seek turns tragic when a stranger takes one child away, leaving the other with fear as she struggles to bring him back before the holiday.

Migo, a Linguistic student, goes back to his hometown to annotate the language in the area. He finds out that the place was not what it used to be. He traverses around the place and sees fragments of his childhood friend Ami, who speaks a different language. The deeper he goes into the memories of the place, the more something in him echoes why he has returned.

Migo and his family are new settlers in the area. He then tries to maintain his newfound friendship with Ami despite having different languages.
