A young autistic boy and his two siblings have to stay with their grandparents while their mother is away. Because of his unique abilities and interest in space missions, he considers his grandparents land an isolated planet.

Wolle and Horse want to help the girl Emma and her grandpa. Verena Winkel from the youth welfare office wants Emma to live in a children's home instead of with her grandpa. Of course, this must be prevented! Wolle builds a time machine with which Emma, Horse and he undertake three adventurous journeys into the past: to the Vikings, to the early 19th century and to the Lapuna Indians.
