Martin Boross

A Budapest-based film crew runs a community workshop for village youth and uncovers a dark secret on the local cucumber farm suggesting the mayor’s oppression. Their exposé documentary becomes a hit, but the scandal fractures the once-united villagers and leaves the community divided.

An amateur cameraman cruises the streets examining characters and recording his secretly observed moments along the way. He begins influencing and shifting reality, bringing us on a journey through his memories and fantasies.

A dozen of youngsters from a poor Hungarian village engage in film-making. The youngsters become the writers, actors, and the directors of the film, and try to cope with each other in order to re-imagine themselves and their environment.
