Emili and her mother run a small restaurant in a forgotten town in Mexico. Surprisingly, a major tv network has announced an open casting call. Emili, who dreams of becoming an actress, sees it as the opportunity of a lifetime. She has the support of her friends, El Maradona and Antonia, who believe she can make it. However, her lack of confidence and her mother’s pressure to stay and help with the restaurant make her question whether going to the casting is the right decision. All of this unfolds while the town’s eyes and ears are consumed by football.

Norman is going through a hard time and meets his long-lost friend, Daniel, to ask him for help. When Anna, a pretty journalist, enters the bar, Daniel sees her as the perfect opportunity for Norman to once again start believing in himself.
