The story follows Rajni, a shape-shifting cobra (Ichchadhari Naagin) who marries a civilian, Rajiv, to avenge the death of her spouse at the hands of an evil saint. Rajiv, who comes from a wealthy family, returns to India after studying in London. His mother wants him to marry Vijaya Singh, but he falls in love with Rajni, an orphan. His mother initially opposes the marriage but later agrees. Their happiness is disrupted when Bhairon Nath, a sadhu with the ability to control snakes, arrives and reveals that Rajni is actually a Naagin seeking revenge. Bhairon Nath has his own sinister motives—he wants to capture Rajni because she knows the location of a hidden Mani, a sacred jewel that would grant him immense power. A dramatic battle ensues, leading to Bhairon Nath’s defeat, and Rajiv and Rajni live happily ever after.

Inspectors Amar (Dharmendra) and Dayal (Raza Murad) in their attempt to arrest bandit Sher Singh (Amrish Puri),, get injured, Amar survives, but Dayal gets his legs crushed and becomes wheelchair-bound. Later, Amar arrests local politician Jagannath Prasad (Kader Khan), who gets released without being charged while Amar gets reprimanded, and decides to resign. Later, Sher Singh hijacks a bus and holds the passengers as hostages in exchange for 25 of his jailed associates. Dayal's granddaughter, Seema (Mandakini), is amongst them, and Dayal asks Amar for assistance. Amar, along with ex-convict, Qasim Ali (Shatrughan Sinha), and Karan (Karan Kapoor), a drug-dealer, does manage to rescue them but differences crop up among the trio and they part ways. Then Amar finds out that Qasim and Karan have masterminded a plan to facilitate the escape of the 25 convicts, and decides to confront them.

Now Asha has a grown up daughter, Jiya (Sanober Kabir). She finds out that Jiya wants to marry Mrs. Chaudhary's (Shashikala) grandson, Raj (Rahat Khan). Asha's three beaus also contact her one by one that they will be coming, with their respective wives and families to tow, to visit Mauritius. Asha's past is now coming back to haunt her, and Asha must use all her wits to see herself through this crisis.

Inspector Amar Kaushal attempts to incarcerate wrong-doers in his society only lead to frustration when they are let off by the incompetence of the law and his superiors and seniors. Eventually Amar stands accused of killing several criminals and innocents which prompts him to take law into his own hands.

A police officer is framed for a bank robbery and arrested and sent to prison. His mother hears this and dies of shock. When released he sets out to take revenge from the people who ruined his life.

What Neema does not know is that Ajay does not love her - all he is interested is humiliating and possibly killing Dayal - to set right a devastating incident that changed his life forever when he was a child. Will Ajay be able to carry out his deadly task?

Sudha Verma wants to be the ideal daughter for her dad, and mom. Unfortunately, Sudha marriage does not take place, as the dowry money has been stolen. Rajesh returns and hopes to marry Sudha, but finds that Sudha and her dad are missing, and are untraceable, and then returns home to find a look-alike of Sudha, who calls herself Asha, but denies ever being or knowing anyone named Sudha Verma.

Abused by his step-mother; Rajmer, Jaipur-based young Mangal faces more trauma when his father Havaldar Rajnath Pandey is shot dead by Daku Lal Singh. He then gets separated from his sister, Deepa, is adopted by a drug-dealer, Kulbhushan, who re-names him 'Tiger'; and then joins hands with criminal don, Jaganlal. Then he gets into a confrontation with Police Inspector Vijay Shukla and ends up killing him.

When Sunita, a middle-class girl, marries Prem, a rich man, she is ill-treated and not respected, as her father is unable to pay dowry. She must now find a way to regain her self-respect in the house.
