A fugitive starship (MEAD) and a lone passenger (Friz) evade earth forces utilizing their ability to project the passengers' thoughts creating illusions that fool pursuers. But tech is being developed to thwart the outlaws.

With the destruction of planet Earth imminent, four spaceships are deployed with an impossible mission-to travel back in time and prevent the global endgame from ever occurring. The captain of the last-remaining ship must rely on the help of opinionated robots and his pilot to fight alien beings, uncover rogue adversaries, and to reach Darkstar: the portal to the past and humanity's last hope.
