Biography
Margarida Assis enjoys watching and showing movies in theaters, especially at Cine Clube de Viseu, where it all started and continues. In recent years she has also been working in film, writing, directing casts and actors and, in 2024, she premiered her first short documentary, Deus-e-meio. In addition, she has studied, among other things, literature, dead and living languages, and is presently pursuing a PhD in Theatre and Performance at Columbia University.
