Acting
A New York housewife flees America and her husband of 30 years to reinvent herself in Paris as Fleur, an upscale escort and dominatrix carving out her own power and identity. But as her past collides with her new life, the question isn’t just whether she’ll return… but whether she can.
Paris, today. 38 y.o. Inès, mother of teenage Adam whom she is raising alone, is threatened with eviction. She absolutely must get a stable job to find them a place to live. She is taken on 2 months trial at “Anti-Squat,” a start-up company offering temporary housing in empty suburban office buildings. But the rules are very strict and the tenants have no rights. As a manager, Inès must live and sleep in the building to monitor the residents. But children are forbidden... She has two months to go, two months to complete her trial period, two months to start a new life at the risk of losing her most cherished values.
An evening in a Parisian building where we discover nine situations that each evoke a hot topic of society: health crisis, feminist struggles, transhumanism, Islam, identity movements (non-exhaustive list!)... Without any judgment but with humor, sometimes burlesque, sometimes grating, and the whole sprinkled with a good dose of emotion. And all these colorful characters will be reunited in a flamboyant finale.
