Caliphate, who works as a trainer in a circus, loses consciousness from a horse’s blow to the forehead and on her deathbed asks her husband Aleshraf to “wait at least a year and then get married!”. Aleshraf promises, but, of course, he doesn’t keep his word and after 40 days he marries a lady named Arifa. The evil spirit of the deceased Caliphate does not allow Aleshraf and Arifa to have privacy on their wedding night.

Nuray, who lost Farid two months ago, decides to write a new love novel. To do this, she wants to read and use the diary of Firuze, an acquaintance of her mother's who was mysteriously murdered years ago. While reading the diary, Nuray notices that a page is missing. This begins to arouse suspicion in Nuray. They meet Fikret, Firuze's lover, and try to investigate this dark crime that has not been solved for 34 years. The obstacles they encounter indicate that the murderer is still alive.

The film is about the National Hero of Azerbaijan, Salatin Askerova.

The film begins with the theft of a 15th-century carpet worth two million manats, owned by a wealthy businessman. Eliş and Roşka accidentally find the carpet, which drives the plot forward. Meanwhile, the struggle between a construction company wanting to demolish the neighborhood and residents trying to protect it reflects real-life issues.
