Biography
Sophia Leanne Kelly is a British actress known for her compelling performances across stage and screen. She made her feature film debut as Tina Shepherd in A Light Through Coloured Glass, directed by multi-award-winning filmmaker Mike Clarke. Her portrayal garnered widespread acclaim, earning her nine Best Actress awards on the international festival circuit. Sophia has a strong foundation in UK theatre, having performed in numerous acclaimed productions including Kes, To Sir With Love, An Inspector Calls, A Tale of Two Cities, and Mighty Atoms by Amanda Whittington, in which she starred as Taylor Flint. She is also known for her dynamic work in Shakespearean theatre, touring nationally in productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, and The Tempest. Her screen credits include the short film Four Letter Words, directed by award-winning filmmaker Michael Stewart, as well as commercial and voiceover work, including a project with Studio Gerrard for the video game Cranial Alpha, and a national advertising campaign for Lynx (AXE) with Wrap Up North. Most recently, she completed filming on Semolina Pilchard, reuniting with director Mike Clarke in the role of Danika Reynolds. She stars alongside notable British actors including Joe McGann, Ricky Tomlinson, Jack Ryder, James Dreyfus, Louis Emerick, and Tina Malone. She also played the lead role in Clarke's hard-hitting short film Make Believe.
