A psychologist specializing in microexpression, Dr. Marlene Nielsen is called in to assist on an apparently obvious case of self-defence. She is asked to help establish the identity of a woman who fatally wounded an attacker, but who steadfastly refuses to speak. But in the face of the »woman without a name« Marlene sees evidence of an intentional act. When no-one takes her seriously, she begins to investigate on her own and comes across an unpunished crime from the past.
