Biography
Teisha Speight is an American actress best known for her work in TV and film. She has been performing since she was 11, initially within school-affiliated sports and marching band, then transitioning to the film industry. Over the course of her career in entertainment, she has appeared in a variety of projects ranging from regional and national commercials (Coca-Cola), to TV shows (including the Emmy-winning, FX show Atlanta), to feature films (most recently opposite an Oscar-winning actor). Teisha has diligently trained and studied her craft since the moment she departed NC State University early to pursue acting full-time. The rising star relocated to Atlanta, GA to get a taste of the Hollywood of the South where she continues to train and work. Teisha has been cast in a number of diverse roles that highlight her ability to transform from the Lovable, Intelligent Student to a Developmentally, Disabled Mom and everything in between. In addition to acting, Teisha expresses her passion for personal development, organization, and planning through her own small business. This modern renaissance woman consistently inspires others on and off-screen as she balances a thriving career in the industry while running a business and advocating for self-love. Nonetheless, you can still find her spending any free moment traveling and spending time with her beloved dog.
