Based on the Edgar Allan Poe poem "Bridal Ballad". A lady's first husband dies in combat. She gets remarried but is fearful that having done so will come back to haunt her.

Amity, a college student, is engaged to another girl and struggles finding a way to tell her parents that she's gay.

A young girl having escaped from being trafficked seeks shelter, videotaping herself as a message for her drug-addicted mother with whether or not she could, or should, come back to the life she once knew.

A blind girl videotapes herself, talking of how her father was always there for her before she lost her sight, until he passed away. Now she finds her own strength and light through her darkness and inspires others to find theirs too.

A bullied young girl, nicknamed "It", fights with thoughts of self-harm, struggling to find hope in her life.
