Biography
Born in 1996 in Saarland; moved to the Cologne area in 2004. Made his first short films while in high school; subsequently trained as a media designer for image and sound; won his first festival award in Monheim am Rhein. Moved to Berlin afterward, with support from STEP – Hessen Filmförderung. Has worked on productions for Netflix, Apple TV+, Paramount+, ZDF, ZDFneo, and ARD, among others. In 2023, served as a directing assistant to Rosa von Praunheim; has been studying directing since October 2024.

Juggling a never-ending barrage of responsibilities, parents and business owners Maik and Linh are occupied with money worries and their marriage is at the bottom of their to-do list. As Linh reveals the true extent of their shocking fi nancial situation, they both take on second jobs. Inevitably, the stress of the situation further damages their marriage and old confl icts start to resurface. In a fi nal bid to save them, Maik decides with a heavy heart to sell their business. But just as they’re about to lose everything they’ve worked for, will a close friend be their salvation ?

Dita Rita Scholl has been an actor and pioneer of queer performance art since the 1970s. Having experienced frequent rejection throughout life, Rita developed a strong longing for physical and emotional touch. This short documentary provides intimate insight into the search for human connection and how this endless hunger can be satisfied through tantric rituals.
