Sofia Sanchez was born on February 21, 2009 in Ukraine. She is a Ukrainian American actress, model, and advocate and known for her viral video "Down Syndrome is Not Scary." She had her acting debut in the television series Switched at Birth (2015), and her first movie role in, For Paloma (2022). Additionally, her adoption story inspired two of her published Scholastic books, "You are Enough" and "You are Loved." You may see her face in various Old Navy ads and Target commercials but what you remember is her vibrant personality the moment you meet her
