She comes to the rescue of an unconscious male, who later identifies himself as Shyam, who had run away from home as his dad, Thakur Veer Singh, was forcing him to get married. Ganga falls in love with him and informs her father accordingly. Both make a journey to Ganga's aunt to collect jewelry for her marriage. When they return Jamuna is thrilled when she finds out that Ganga is getting engaged but is devastated when she finds out that her best friend's to-be fiancé is none other than Shyam. Both inseparable companions, who always held hands in friendship, now exchange slaps and each vows to get married to Shyam. The question remains: who will Shyam get married to?
