On the day before a big audition, young actrice Danaé is trying to learn her lines. Everyone else in the city seems to have better plans during the raging heatwave, like house parties or watching the national football team. While Danaé struggles and the audition draws near, the city seems keeps intruding further in her personal space.

Floris, a young entrepreneur about to launch his business, returns to his hometown to visit his childhood friend. His goal is to regain access to an embarrassing Twitter account his friend once created in his name, but the reunion quickly brings back old tensions. As they search for the password and revisit memories from their shared past, they fall back into their old dynamics and it becomes clear that their connection has always been troubled.
