Ben is a young bisexual man. He comes out to the world and develops an intense relationship with Sam, a man of color struggling with deep wounds of his own. As the summer progresses and their intimacy grows, Ben's past crawls to the surface.

Helena, an amateur theater actress living in Puebla, Mexico, arrives at the rehearsal of a play where she sees herself trapped between a number of parallel realities in an undefined time. Her conscience creates the illusion that she is living in the present, but the past continues and she can't remember the future.
