Sri and Yanti, two teeage girls who are blind, have been close friends since they lived in a dormitory. They are inseparable and always together. One day, Yanti announce her plan to move out of town to pursue her dream. It makes Sri angry and keep questioning: whether they even deserve to have dreams?

As a result of a fight with a classmate, Dere was moved by Mar, her mother, to Yogyakarta. Mar, who raised Dere as a single parent, only wanted the best for her daughter. Upon her father’s death, a sole child, only want to pray her father peacefully. But she cannot fulfill her desire due to tradition, which forces her to take care her father’s funeral. She being forced to pay everyone who takes care of the funeral at a predetermined tariff, including the ones praying for the deceased. She knew it was wrong and she refused to follow, but she continues to be pressured by her aunt and some neighbors to keep up the tradition. She also experienced a dilemma, must follow the tradition for the smoothness of his father's burial or remain in her stand. Many families in West Java, Indonsia left behind by the deceased experience a great sense of sadness and being burdened to face traditions that they didn’t actually approved.
