Edurne Azkarate

Western Pyrenees, year 778. When his land is threatened by the ruthless armies of the Frankish emperor, a Basque warlord asks for help from his ancestral gods.

Set in Bilbao, the plot of the series focuses on the work of Romina Goitia, Romi, a thirty-year-old private detective with an innate gift for investigation: she is deaf, which is why she has developed a unique ability to interpret non-verbal communication and detect lies. Romi complements this extraordinary skill with a certain tendency to skirt the law to achieve her goals, in contrast to the extremely disciplined and responsible profile of Patricia Irureta, her new intern partner.

Alicia teaches book binding to students Maite, Unai and Merche. They share a workshop where they cut, sew and glue the pages to give the books a longer life. While each one works on their book, they talk about life, grief and its different variations.

Karen, a young woman obsessed with the most influential influencer of the moment, Kamilah Kay, decides to undergo surgery to look like her. Seeing how well the new Karen is received on social media, she begins to spend her savings on more operations. The more she looks like Kamilah and less like herself, the more her life begins to improve, until one day, something horrible shakes up her new and idyllic life.

San Sebastian, 1978. The workers at the water meter factory hold an assembly to discuss a strike, which ultimately fails. Disappointed, the most non-conformist workers turn their aspirations for radical transformation towards more intimate spheres. Some leave the factory to join an isolated community in the mountains, where dozens of young people embarked on an intense journey of shared cathartic experiences.

Jakes is twelve years old and running through the woods. He is lost. On his way, he meets Amaia, twenty-seven, who offers him her home as a refuge for a while. The bond between these characters will lead Jakes to face his fears.
