Doğu is a 2021 Turkish absurdist comedy-drama created by and starring stand-up comedian Doğu Demirkol, loosely inspired by his own life. The series follows Doğu — a young man who fails at practically everything — as he stubbornly chases his dream of becoming a comedian, with little support from those around him. Sharp, self-aware, and packed with observational humor, it's a refreshingly original Turkish comedy about ambition, failure, and the relentless pursuit of a dream.

A humorous take on modern relationships, following Nil and Emir from their very first date. As their relationship unfolds, the couple reveals both the versions of themselves they present to each other and their true personalities, holding up a mirror to society in the process.
