Biography
Ahmed Shawky was born in Tanta on August 21, 1984. He received degrees in pharmacy and mass communication. He studied cinema at the Jesuit School in Cairo. In 2010, he presented his first film, A Life's Box. Then he directed the films The Green Tape, and A Guinea Pig, before making his first documentary, Once Upon a Place.
