A unique drama anthology series for our time, inspired by true events which happened in Kyiv in the first few weeks after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. As the brutal war got underway, every second person left Kyiv. Yet every second person remained. These are their stories – variously moving, funny, sad, stark, unsettling, and uplifting.

A story about relationships between children and adults broken by shaky 1990s in Ukraine. The boy Tymophii befriends a weird man named Felix. He's the veteran of Afghan war, he has PTSD and he loves music.

At the disco Andriy, an 18-year-old boy, meets his classmate Zhenya, who moved away from their provincial town a few years earlier. When Zhenya disappears, all suspicion falls on Andriy who returns home in his friend’s sneakers. Zhenya's father, a local criminal authority, independently begins the search for his son.

On one of the last days of summer vacation, 12-year-old Yarik and his friend Igor witness a disturbing scene. The boys see a man allegedly strangling a young girl in the woods - but everyone concludes: Igor is sure that the two fell in love, while Yarik is convinced that the woman was killed. The history of finding evidence of a crime is revealed by growing up.
