The first two series were broadcast on the ITV network, and the third and final series on Channel 4. Most episodes were written by the star, Peter Tilbury, who played office worker Philip Roath.

Grundy is a British television sitcom starring Harry H. Corbett as puritanical newsagent Leonard Grundy who, after a divorce, opposes the idea of a 'permissive society' and befriends the wife of the man who left with his wife.
