Tabara Shetty serves the government till his retirement. But problems emerge after his retirement. Matters worsen when his wife and only companion falls sick.

Bobanna, a postman, is tasked to read and write the letters of the naive and illiterate villagers. However, trouble is stirred up by his conniving mother-in-law.
