At 11 years old, Nicola has killed a man. It was his father, Lucio, who ordered him to do it. His reward? Abandonment. Twenty years have passed, and since that day Nicola has lived in Mexico with his uncle Nando, who raised him under a lie: Lucio was dead. A harsh upbringing in a ruthless country shaped him and taught him how to survive. Today, he's an adult working at the family restaurant, having buried the past under the weight of distance. But Nando decides to leave for good. On the eve of his escape, he chooses to reveal the truth: Nicola's father is still alive.
