Biography

Alain Sarde, born March 28, 1952, in Boulogne-Billancourt, has been one of the most prolific French film and television producers since the 1970s. He has notably produced films by Andrzej Zulawski, Roman Polanski, Bertrand Tavernier, Diane Kurys, and Anne Fontaine. In the 1990s, he was accused of sexual assault and rape against several women and implicated in the Brumark-Bourgeois Affair. In May 2024, nine women testified against him regarding these acts.
